Holy Child Auxilium School, Sector XII, R K Puram came into existence in the year 1970. It is run by Salesian Sisters Society of Northern India. The heart of their mission is commitment to education.

The institution was started by three visionaries, Sr. CleoFassa, Sr. LuiginaMiorelli and Sr. Clara Martin. The school started with just 24 students and it has rapidly grown into a Secondary School under the efficient leadership of the management.

It is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Administration and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Prabhatara Hostel

The Institute of Social Service, “Prabhatara Hostel” provides an opportunity for the growth and development of young working women in a healthy and homely atmosphere building good personal relationships and community living. The Hostel serves the women folk by giving them a modest but simple accommodation..

The Institute of Social Service, “Prabhatara” was registered in 1986 in order to be of service in the development of the disadvantaged in society, especially women and children. This institute was inaugurated in 1987. The Hostel started in September 1987 followed by the, Women’s Resource Centre and the Children’s Centre for street and working children in 1988. Since then the Institute has been organizing various services and development programmes for women and children enabling them to be educated, self -reliant and economically independent. This is run by the sisters of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary.

Shanti Avedna Sadan

Shanti Avedna Sadan is India’s first Hospice, an institution that takes care of the advanced terminally ill Cancer patients. It is neither a hospital nor a home, but is in fact both, offering the specialized care of a hospital together with the love of a home.

The nursing care, which is the most important is given by trained and qualified members of the nursing order of the Holy Cross Sisters, with much love and devotion. The day-to-day medical care is given by specially trained doctors in palliative care.
